I have been creating art since I could talk. I was born and raised in Hawai’i, and have always been mesmerized by the captivating scenery and natural beauty of the islands.

I decided to launch this website to showcase my artwork and to help fundraise for my dance competition fees as a middle school student.

I’ve been dancing my whole life, and I’ve always loved it. I have always been passionate about the arts. So, I created mila-hana to help promote both my visual art and my dancing, allowing me to travel to O’ahu for competitions.

I wanted mila-hana to showcase the beauty of nature here in Hawai’i. I’ve been photographing breathtaking shots around the island. Even if it’s the simplest (or tiniest) things that most people miss, to show just how amazing nature truly is. I like to zoom in on small ecosystems and forgotten species. I then use those photographs as inspiration and reference photos for my paintings.

I also enjoy creating simpler pieces that focus on a silhouette with a beautiful ombré effect background.
